Food Service

Camp Selah's kitchen team will serve three meals daily: breakfast at 8:00 am, lunch at 12:30 pm, and dinner at 5:30 pm. Typically, meals will be plated by the Selah kitchen staff and distributed to campers via the food line. Campers will dine in our outdoor covered area alongside their cabin mates, counselors, and YSL (junior staff members).

To support Camp Selah's Zero Food Waste Initiative, campers are encouraged to take only what they plan to eat. Occasionally, seconds may be offered after everyone has gone through the food line.

Allergies & Intolerances

Due to the significant rise in varied food preferences, we are no longer able to permit campers to bring outside food as meal substitutes. Instead, the Camp Selah Food Service Staff will offer gluten-free and dairy-free options at every meal for campers and staff with genuine gluten and dairy allergies/intolerances. It is important to note that these options are exclusively for individuals with legitimate allergies and not for those with personal food preferences.

We kindly request that parents of campers with moderate severe food allergies complete and submit the registration form at least 30 days before the camp date, allowing the Food Service Department to make necessary arrangements.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our food service director, Sharon, at swinklerfsd@gmail.com.
