Requesting a Cabin-mate
Consider this...
Before submitting a cabin mate request, please reflect on this perspective from Jenn, a mother of two campers:
"I believe summer camp should be an opportunity for my children to spend time with new friends rather than just their 'home friends.' It's essential for them to share a cabin with kids they don't know, as it fosters independence and helps them face the anxiety of new situations. Making new friends building relationships are key aspects of a genuine summer camp experience, and are important skills for their growth and development."
Every camper is guaranteed one cabin mate request if they adhere to the following steps:
1) Request only one other camper.
2) Both campers must request each other.
3) Submit your registration form before June 1st.
If you list more than one cabin mate, your request will not be guaranteed. Please note that cabin changes will not be accommodated on registration days for any reason.
Cabin-mate requests are limited for the benefit of all campers. All groupings are done at the discretion of Camp Leadership.
For any questions or concerns, contact the camp office before June 1st!
